I Don't have a problem buying used products. Most of the time the item was just not what someone expected and returned it intact... MOST of the time. This time, I received speakers that looked like they were dropped from the roof. the grills were caved in, and one had a split in the metal. I would expect that from "Used Acceptable" items, which I steer clear of. This should have been listed in that category. Now to be fair, that is a repackaging issue and not the fault of the manufacturer. HOWEVER, aside from the condition of these "Like New" speakers, they are crap! The sound is terrible. The whole thing sounds muddy and without life. No amount of EQ adjustments could get these to sound remotely decent. The speaker housing itself vibrates and causes the speaker to have a very hollow sound. Like there is no baffle inside at all, just thin plastic. These were bad at the significantly discounted price I paid for "Like New". They are definitely NOT worth the "Retail" price they are asking. Do yourself a favor, Look elsewhere for speakers. These will be an utter disappointment for you.EDIT 6/24/25: After leaving this review, Herdio customer service reached out to me and offered a new replacement set of speakers. They arrived a few days later and I am pleased to say, that the replacements look and sound much better than the originals. I suspect the sound quality may have been compromised due to the rough condition they were in. I have them hooked up to my outdoor stereo, and I am very satisfied with the clarity, fullness, and volume they provide. I am especially happy with their customer service! They did the one thing any company should do: Rectify the wrong in order to keep your customer base happy. Thank you for reaching out and making this right.
