Herdio 4" Bluetooth Marine Speakers 240W | IP66 Waterproof Wireless Boat & ATV Audio

Put these in my Polaris Ranger great product great sound for a 60 dollar set of speakers and a head unit it’s a no brainer would definatley reccomend

These things rock. I've installed 3 of them and they provide plenty of good sound in any golf cart.

I bought these to use on a trailer for a parade float.They were much easier to handle than full size speakers, initially I was not sure if the had the output but found they did very well as far as volume and sound quality.Mine came as a set of four with a small micro amp. I did NOT use the supplied amp but a larger PYLE mini PA mixing amp for their source, still tiny one so as to support a mic and audio for the parade.They came through very well despite their small size.They were easy to position and mount which made the setup my simpler than using normal size floor or PA speakers.

They fit my need. I used them on a golf cart. I ended up using a different amp and controller for more sound.

I preferred the old style controller with the analog volume knob as compared to this one. Speaker wire orientation at the hookups make it hard to have a clean install where the buttons are also still accessible too.Otherwise: straight forward install, easy to Bluetooth, came with plenty of speaker wire.

The product is of solid quality. I had a slight issue with the amp. The company was extremely responsive. Sent me out a new amplifier right away and the system works perfectly quite robust actually so I’m very glad I made this purchase. You won’t go wrong with the customer service.

I’ve been using the Herdio 4-inch marine Bluetooth speakers on my boat, and they deliver impressive sound quality. With 240W of power, they’re loud and clear, even in outdoor environments. The waterproof design is perfect for marine use, and installation was easy. However, the bass could be a bit deeper. Overall, they’re solid, durable speakers for any outdoor setup.

Well, right off the bat, wasn’t happy about not finding a manual in the box.It sounds like they boosted the bass electronically, but the problem is, the speakers can’t cut it, and so the bass range tends to be slightly muddy and distorted. The clear example is the voice the unit uses to announce modes, etc. When you switch modes you can especially hear it in the word ‘mode’. I couldn’t understand what she was saying at first.For music it’s not as noticeable, but if your ear is good, it is noticeable. Sound quality is good enough for outdoor applications like being on a noisy boat or tractor, or ATV, or any of the scenarios they show. .The really bad thing is that if you push the volume too high, the unit will reset. The volume down does not work until you are in play mode. Problem is, you need to be real quick to hit play and then drop volume before it maxes out and resets again. You can be there for a while in that cycle before getting it to work. Bad design. There should be a software limiter.The other undesirable thing is the power cord. It is made to connect to a 12 V supply, like a battery. Would have been nice to have some alligator clips included or some other connectors rather than just bare wire.It’s nice to have 4 speakers for better surround.But, the amplifier is nowhere near waterproof. I think they meant only the SPEAKERS are.And power…. well, listing says 240Watts, specs online say speaker 200- watts (have to assume that is all 4) and manual says 40w per speaker (which is 160 watts)So what is it? Hardly matters, because it sure looks like the amp can’t output near any of those #’s since it is always resetting at high volumes.

OK, I got this to install in my golf cart as I really didn't want to cut holes into the body to mount surface mounts and this seemed like a nice set up. Knowing stereos, I knew that the small boxes would not lend themselves to great dynamic response on the lower end. I was correct in that regard but they do sound better than I had feared, but not astounding by any stretch of the imagination. The stereo has higher volume than I thought it would have, although you don't need much on a cart. Overall the sound quality is better than I anticipated and to quote a line from one of my favorite songs : "If you don't expect too much, you might not be let down..."Now for the head unit. Jesus. I really have a hard time wrapping my head around what the person was thinking when they designed it when you are considering that this was intended for outside use and possibly be subject to water. I can only assume that it was intended to be mounted in some sort of an enclosure .... which you do not have. I googled the brand to see if they sold an enclosure and only succeeded in losing about two hours of my life for the effort, nor does their Amazon site list anything that I could see. Next the speaker connections are to the side?? I have worked a lot with auto and marine audio and I have never seen this arrangement, it just does not make sense. Worse yet, the power connection goes in at the top of the head unit. Should you get water on the top of it, the water will go where? The connection is definitely not waterproof. I plan on making an enclosure for mine but the speaker/power connections make the enclosure larger than it needs to be. The Bluetooth works great and the controls are very simple and functional and the unit seems to have more power than you would expect. Overall a pretty good product, but failed by a quirky design.

I purchased this product to put on my tractor, set up went easy. wiring was easy. great mounting. B/T linked up easy. long range connection. My tractor does not have a cab so with the brush hog on and 50 hp diesel engine at 3000 rpm at half volume you can still hear the music playing quite clear. Highley reccomend for Tractor or any loud application.
